| A special gathering for all the descendants of Stephen and Mary Ann Hales was held July 12, 2008. Our stalwart Latter-day Saint ancestors who, through their faithfulness during trying times, raised a family of six surviving children through which so many of us descend. We must honor these blessed pioneers in a gathering. Many relatives of the six surviving Hales children came. This included names like Horne, Ellis, Humphrey, Anderson, Rose, Allen, Hatch etc etc. Our key note speaker was Robert D. Hales of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles |
